In celebration we all got 11 pancakes this morning.

Sunday Sweet

It's no secret that my favorite place is 

Sweet Life Patissere. 

THIS little yummy slice of heaven was their creation. 

When you're trying to be good 

(meaning I would rather not gain all the weight that I worked so hard to lose back!) 

a simply delicious and well made slice of cake perfection can go a long way. This was an amazing slice of moist maple cake with maple buttercream frosting and a caramel apple filling. 

So yummy!

Homecoming in a small town

One of the nice things about living in a small town is that it shuts down for the high school homecoming parade.

Sundae Sunday Traditions

As our children grow it becomes more and more apparent how important family traditions are. So even though the kids may complain about something we do regularly, or as family tradition, they get totally bent out of shape if we forget.

One of the traditions that we have that no one complains about is

Sundae Cake on Sunday.

Since it is below freezing this New Year's Evening with threats of freezing rain,

I thought that I would remember Oregon in all of its glory
