Gannon's Place

A Day in the Life of Liberty, My Horse
by Gannon Jones for Equine 103
My name is Liberty. I am a horse. I am brown tall and can jump really high. My owner is Gannon Jones.
This morning I got an apple, hay and oats for breakfast. My favorite was the apple because it was crunchy and sweet. It was cold outside this morning. It was raining really hard when I woke up and I wished that I was inside the house near the fireplace. Gannon came to clean my stall this morning and feed me breakfast. I was really glad to see Gannon. Then I pooped. Gannon didn’t notice until he stepped in it. I neighed at him. Gannon went back inside the house.
This afternoon the rain cleared up. Then Gannon came to groom me. The pointy thing really hurt. Gannon got too close behind me so I kicked him in the stomach because that pointy thing really hurt! Then he rode me. We went into the backyard. It is big and has lots of trees and branches on the ground. I jumped over a branch on the ground and there was a branch above me. Gannon was looking at the ground and didn’t see it until it hit him square in the chest. He fell off me but I kept going. I hid behind a group of trees. I saw Gannon looking for me. When he got really close I kicked him to let him know that I was there. He fell down. I tried to nudge him with my foot so that he would get up but he was already standing and I accidentally kicked him in the stomach and he flew into a tree. Then he walked me home. Then I got some hay for lunch.
At night Gannon came to feed me some broccoli. He also gave me oats and an apple for a treat. Then he scratched me behind the ears. I don’t like being scratched behind the ears. I prefer being scratched on my back so I stomped him on the toe. He screamed. Then Gannon went back inside. I hope he will come back to see me tomorrow.
The end.
